Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Manager/Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 7 years of experience in drafting and vetting contracts, with preference given to those with experience in litigation (although not mandatory). Freshers with a strong knowledge of contract law are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Support the legal team in litigation matters, including legal research, case preparation, and attending court hearings.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal documentation and records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in contract drafting and vetting.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
- Experience in Non-litigation is preferred.
