Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Legal Intern to join our dynamic team. The intern will gain valuable experience in both human resources and legal functions, working closely with our HR Manager and Legal Counsel on various projects. This internship is a great opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in HR, employment law, or corporate legal work.

Key Responsibilities:Human Resources:

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Help maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, company events, and wellness programs.
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks such as policy updates, employee handbook revisions, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and company regulations.

Legal:

  • Assist the legal team with contract drafting, review, and amendments, particularly employment agreements, NDAs, and other corporate contracts.
  • Conduct research on labor laws, compliance requirements, and legal best practices in HR.
  • Support in preparing legal documents and managing filings for regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with dispute resolution processes, including documentation and preliminary research for employee relations issues.
  • Maintain organized records of legal documents and assist in handling confidential information.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in both HR and legal functions with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR software or legal research tools is a plus but not required.
