Matter Entertainment is looking for a talented Legal Associate to join our dynamic in-house legal team in Mumbai!
Role Highlights:
You’ll handle legal agreements related to talent, production, brand endorsements, licensing, and more in the entertainment sector. This fast-paced role is ideal for someone with strong IPR expertise and a passion for media law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review & negotiate contracts across talent, media, licensing, and brand engagements
- Manage IPR-related issues including copyrights, trademarks, and licensing
- Provide legal risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams, talent, and external counsel
- Conduct legal research and assist with due diligence
Eligibility & Skills:
- LL.B. from a recognized university; enrolled with the Bar Council preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in entertainment or IPR law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of IP, media law, and commercial contracts
- Interest in the evolving entertainment legal landscape
