Position: Associate – Legal Operations Team
Location: Thane
Experience Level: Freshers welcome (0-2 years experience)
About the Role:
Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking driven and skilled law graduates to join our legal operations team. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong foundation in contract vetting, legal drafting, and compliance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized 3-year or 5-year in-person program.
- Experience: 0-2 years in contract vetting and negotiations, with at least one year of litigation experience preferred.
- Skills Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge Areas:
- Familiarity with Sanction Letters, Document Notes
- Understanding of post-disbursement activities, including ROC Filing, CERSAI Filing, insurance, re-valuation, rate of interest, rate sheet, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, briefing, and handling legal documentation with minimal supervision
- Conducting research and providing legal advice on commercial transactions
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address trade-related queries and observations
- Demonstrating strong analytical skills for reviewing and advising on commercial transactions
