Position Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Employment Paralegal with experience assisting U.S. law firms in managing pending EEOC matters and employment discrimination claims. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative legal team that values your expertise and contributions.
Responsibilities:
– Draft and respond to EEOC charges and administrative agency filings (DFEH, state/local equivalents)
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Prepare legal correspondence, discovery, and document responses
– Track case deadlines, agency filings, and extension requests
– Assist attorneys in trial preparation, hearings, and depositions.
– Provide pre-litigation and litigation support, including trial preparation
– Maintain accurate records in case management systems
– Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
– Provide general litigation support to attorneys as needed.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of paralegal experience in U.S. employment law (EEOC/discrimination matters strongly preferred)
– Familiarity with Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and related federal/state laws
– Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
– A bachelor’s degree in Law is required
– Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
– Ability to work independently in a remote setting while coordinating with U.S.-based teams.
