What You Will Do
You will be responsible for working through the contract lifecycle, from the initial generation to completion, including assistance with identifying risks, negotiating terms, and checking for ongoing compliance. You will collaborate with different departments within the company to gather input, align contract terms based on business strategies, and maintain internal company standards. You will be responsible for contract lifecycle database management, organizing and compiling the document repository as well as ensuring the ongoing maintenance of the corporate ticketing system.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Corporate Legal Department
- Generate and review contracts using legal tools
- Maintain the database and centralized storage of such contracts and track renewals and expirations
- Coordinate and improve legal workflows, especially in collaboration with other departments such as Accounting and Sales
- Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
- Assist in meetings, projects, and other duties with the Legal Department as needed
- Conduct basic research and other searches and summarize findings on requested topics
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree is required, relevant certifications (paralegal certificate)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal or related work experience
- Understanding of and experience with basic contract lifecycle, preferably with sales organizations
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of contracts/legal principles is preferred
- Knowledge of CLM/CRM tools such as Salesforce, Xakia, and legal AI tools is a plus
- Ability to work hours that should coincide in part with US headquarters
