About the Competition

Since not everyone has the talent to captivate readers with their words, writing articles can be viewed as an art form. This competition’s main goals are to share the students’ ideas with the public, increase public awareness on some important legal issues, and assess the students’ writing abilities and subject-specific expertise.

Topics

Students can write an article on any of the following topics:

1. Cybernation – a threat or a convivial to employment.
2. Justice delayed, justice denied
3. “Innocent until proven guilty” – does this approach affect the victims in any way?

Formatting Specifications:

The following formatting specifications need to be strictly adhered to:

• Main Body: Font – Times New Roman, Font Size – 12, Heading – 14 and Line Spacing – 1.5;
• Footnotes: Font – Times New Roman, Font Size – 10, and Line Spacing – 1.0 Word
• Word Limit: 1500- 2000 words excluding footnotes.
• Plagiarism: The article must be original, unpublished and bona-fide work of the participant.

Submission Guidelines

• Only individual participation is allowed.
• Submission must be made in PDF format only.
• Submission must be done VIA mail at ledroitindiacompetition@gmail.com
• Name of Participant and institution should be mentioned at the last page of the article in the following format:
  • Full name of the participant;
  • Participant’s current year of study and name of the degree pursuing,
  • Name of the participant’s university;
  • Phone number of the participant and email ID of the participant

Awards

• First prize: INR1500/-
• Second prize: INR 1000/-
• Third prize: INR 500/-
• Participation certificate for all
