- Roles, Responsibilities & Authorities
Provide sound legal counsel and advice to the organization, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory laws while upholding the company’s values and ethos.
- Possess strong expertise in commercial law, corporate law, and business law to effectively support organizational objectives.
- Identify, mitigate, and prevent legal risks and violations through appropriate corporate legal services and compliance mechanisms.
- Evaluate ongoing and proposed projects to ensure adherence to corporate laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Stay continuously updated with evolving national and international corporate laws, rules, and regulations.
- Draft, curate, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, contracts, and other paperwork to safeguard the company’s interests in compliance with legal standards.
- Supervise and guide junior corporate lawyers, paralegals, and legal support staff in day-to-day legal matters.
- Periodically review, update, and improve company policies related to legal and compliance matters.
- Advise and guide the management team and key stakeholders on appropriate legal strategies and courses of action.
- Conduct in-depth legal research related to partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Handle and oversee all legal matters for the company’s operations in the following locations:
Dehradun, Bhagwanpur (Roorkee), Saharanpur, Behat, and Badshahi Bagh.
- Provide legal assistance and support directly to the Chairman on all legal-related matters.
