Role Description
The Corporate Lawyer (0-2 years PQE) will be responsible for providing legal advice and assistance on corporate and commercial matters as part of the team. Daily tasks include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, performing legal research, advising clients on compliance and regulatory requirements, and assisting in due diligence processes for transactions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, where the candidate will collaborate closely with other legal professionals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, Compliance, and Contract Law
- Skilled in legal drafting, reviewing, and interpretation of agreements and legal documentation
- Proficient in legal research and analysis
- Ability to manage client communications effectively and provide sound legal advice
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized university; 0-2 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Bar council membership and eligibility to practice law in India
- Familiarity with corporate regulatory frameworks and transactional law will be advantageous
