ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of the Role:
Forbes Marshall is seeking a qualified legal professional to join our team for a period of six (6) months, extendable upon mutual agreement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
a) Review and analysis of contracts, Purchase Orders and other legal documents;
b) Assist with intellectual property manners, including patents, trademarks and design related rights;
c) Support with various legal matters, including but not limited to legal research, drafting and related tasks.
Qualification and Requirements:
Qualifications: L.L.B. / B.A. L.L.B.
a) Strong legal drafting and document review skills;
b) Prior experience or working knowledge in IP law (design, trademarks, patents) : Desirable.
c) Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at any given time efficiently.
