Job Description:
Agasthya Developer Private Limited is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Legal Officer to oversee all legal matters related to real estate projects, including DTCP (Directorate of Town and Country Planning) and RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure the company operates within legal frameworks, manages risks effectively, and supports smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with DTCP and RERA regulations for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to real estate and corporate operations.
- Represent the company in legal matters, disputes, and communications with authorities and clients.
- Provide advice on legal risks, documentation, and corporate governance.
- Coordinate with lawyers, courts, government authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Maintain proper records of approvals, licenses, legal notices, and correspondence.
- Support management in policy creation, project approvals, and legal decision-making.
- Monitor updates in real estate laws, DTCP guidelines, and RERA regulations and ensure company compliance.
Requirements / Skills:
- Educational Qualification: LLB (Bachelor of Law) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws, DTCP rules, RERA regulations, property laws, and corporate compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and provide sound legal advice.
- Experience in documentation, legal correspondence, and regulatory approvals.
- Languages: Tamil & English
