Job Overview:
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Legal Executive to join our Legal Department in Chennai. This position is ideal for a law graduate with up to one year of litigation experience and a strong command of the Tamil language.
Key Duties:
- Prepare and draft legal documents for trial court cases, following the specific guidelines of the Madras High Court.
- Review and approve Tri-Partite Agreements for significant commercial ventures.
- Provide legal advice to internal departments on risks related to commercial contracts and transactions.
- Offer legal support on matters concerning real estate, construction, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Maintain and update the Legal Management Information System (MIS) on various litigation cases, legal notices, and contract management.
- Coordinate with panel advocates on upcoming cases, including intellectual property disputes, property issues, criminal cases, rental recoveries, writ petitions, and consumer cases.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- 0-1 year of litigation experience.
- Proficient in Tamil (written and spoken).
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- Ability to assess and mitigate legal risks.
