Full job description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Lawyer with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in real estate and redevelopment matters including Contract Laws, RERA Etc., The candidate will handle end-to-end legal work for projects, from due diligence to drafting, registration, compliance, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct due diligence on redevelopment sites including title verification, compliance checks, and regulatory approvals.
· Draft, review, negotiate, and register legal documents such as Development Agreements, JDAs, and Agreements for Sale, Sale Deeds, MoUs, POAs, Procurement Agreements, NOCs, and related deeds.
· Handle legal notices (drafting/replying) and ensure registration of agreements, allotment letters, and demand notes.
· Assist in RERA filings, Quarterly Progress Reports (QPRs), and other compliance requirements.
· Stay up to date with laws impacting the real estate sector including:
o Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA)
o Transfer of Property Act, 1882
o Indian Contract Act, 1872
o Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (Apartment Ownership Act
· Coordinate with government offices (JDR, PMC, Ward Office, etc.) for legal formalities.
· Provide legal support during internal and client meetings.
· Assist with documentation related to company credit facilities, banking NOCs, etc.
· Maintain compliance trackers for unit-wise documentation (KYC, PAN, payments) prior to registration.
· Coordinate client appointments, manage registration schedules, and ensure pre-registration requirements (stamp duty/registration , dues clearance, etc.) are completed.
· Act as first responder to client queries on agreements/documentation
· Submit weekly reports covering drafted, registered, pending agreements and client coordination status.
· Take ownership of assigned legal and compliance tasks with a growth-oriented approach.
