Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Associate to join our team at Agasthya Developer Private Limited. The candidate will play a key role in handling legal documentation, compliance, and property-related matters for our real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize agreements, sale deeds, lease deeds, MoUs, and other property-related legal documents.
- Conduct thorough property due diligence, title verification, and encumbrance checks.
- Ensure compliance with RERA regulations, DTCP approvals, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with government departments, sub-registrar offices, and other regulatory authorities for approvals, registrations, and legal clearances.
- Handle legal notices, arbitration matters, and assist in dispute resolution.
- Maintain updated records of legal documentation and provide timely reports to management.
- Advise management on legal risks and strategies in real estate transactions.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- 1–4 years of experience in real estate/property law (freshers with strong drafting skills may also apply).
- Sound knowledge of property law, land registration, contract law, RERA, and related acts.
- Proficiency in drafting, vetting, and reviewing contracts and deeds.
- Strong communication skills in Tamil and English (written & verbal).
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple legal tasks.
