Role Description:
This is a Full time On-site role for an associate at SGA Law Offices in Chandigarh. The Associate will be responsible for day to day tasks related to legal research, drafting documents, and supporting attorneys in case preparation.
Qualifications:
- Law Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in the field of Taxation would be preferred.
- Excellent Research and Writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good Communication & Inter Personal skills.
- Previous Experience in Legal Environment is preferred.
Job Profile:
- Preparing reply to Show cause notices.
- Preparing tax appeals to be filed at the Commissioner (Appeals).
- Attending the adjudication and appellate proceedings as and when required.
- Preparing tax appeals to be filed at the Court (i.e. Tribunal, High Court / Supreme Court)
- Assisting seniors for representation before various judicial forums.
- Comprehensive research on various topics.
