Who will be conducting the Workshop?
ADVOCATE ACHYUT GOVINDAM
He is an Advocate primarily practicing and appearing before the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh and Courts & Tribunals across the country and has also appeared in matters of writs, public interest litigation, criminal law, arbitration, local municipal body laws, land & revenue laws, property laws, commercial contract, consumer disputes, real estate disputes, etc. and has represented and advised private parties in matters of civil law, with the Government and employer-employee disputes. He is the Founder and the first elected Secretary of Lawyers Action Group, a non- government and not-for-profit organization of Lawyers engaged in aspects of access to justice. Briefly, he has also worked as a Law Researcher for the Committee for Reforms in Criminal Law by and under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree of Master of Laws in International Law and also researched and authored a dissertation on Multiparty Investment Arbitration under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Brown, a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales. He also holds a certification in International Arbitration from The Charted Institute of Arbitrators London and a Diploma in Cyber Laws from GLC Mumbai, and an Expert Certification in Filling & Obtaining Trademarks in India.
