About the Opportunity
A global technology leader is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to support its growing legal operations in India. This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, advise on complex commercial matters, and support business functions across India and APAC.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, and navigating India’s legal and business environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
– Provide strategic legal advice across business, sales, operations, and corporate teams
– Support regulatory compliance, policy development, and risk assessment
– Advise on Indian legal requirements and coordinate with global legal teams
– Manage legal aspects of business expansion, employment matters, and commercial operations
– Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure business goals align with legal frameworks
Required Qualifications
– LL.B. from a recognised Indian university
– 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or top-tier law firm
– Strong knowledge of Indian commercial, corporate, regulatory, and competition laws
– Experience with technology-sector legal issues is preferred
– Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

– Experience working with global teams
– Understanding of privacy, data protection, and consumer laws
– Strong commercial judgment and problem-solving capabilities
