About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our dynamic agri-business team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices within the agri-business sector. You will play a critical role in ensuring our organization’s adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the agri-business sector.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Provide guidance and support to departments across the organization on compliance matters.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks associated with the organization’s operations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance risk management framework.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to minimize exposure.
- Investigations and Reporting:
- Conduct investigations into suspected compliance violations and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct within the workplace.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in compliance or a related role within the agri-business industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices in the agri-business sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
