The Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy (“Vidhi”) is an independent think tank dedicated to improving laws and governance in India for the public good. Vidhi partners with the Government of India, State Governments, and other public institutions to provide legal research and drafting support throughout the law-making process.
Vidhi also produces and freely disseminates independent, high-quality legal research aimed at driving meaningful reforms in areas crucial to India’s future.
The Vidhi Karnataka team works closely with the Karnataka State Government and local authorities on state-specific legal and policy issues.

Role: Associate Fellow (Karnataka)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth legal research on topics such as urban governance, property rights, and social welfare.
- Draft reports, research notes, and presentations of high academic and professional quality.
- Participate in meetings with government officials and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- 0–3 years of work experience
(Note: A Master’s degree will be counted as one year of work experience.) - Strong research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
