Are you aspiring to gain firsthand insight into the functioning of the Supreme Court? The Office of Justice K.V. Viswanathan is now accepting applications for full-time, in-office legal internships. These internships will be available from November 2024 to May 2025, offering a one-month duration, with the possibility of an extension depending on your performance and availability.
Who Can Apply:
- Undergraduate law students:
- Must be in the 2nd year or above (for 3-year LLB programs).
- Must be in the 3rd year or above (for 5-year integrated law programs).
- Postgraduate law students: Eligible to apply.

Application Timeline:
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Selection Process:
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews, which will be conducted via phone or video call.
- Successful candidates will receive confirmation 2 to 4 weeks before their scheduled start date.
Internship Roles:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memos.
- Prepare briefs summarizing case facts, legal issues, and arguments.
- Attend court hearings and meetings, with a focus on documenting key proceedings.
Orientation:
Interns will begin with a comprehensive orientation session to familiarize themselves with the office environment, guidelines, and necessary tools.

Interns are expected to uphold high standards of confidentiality and professionalism, ensuring that all legal information and internal matters are treated with discretion.
