Adv. S.K. Tandon is a founding member of Aid Legal Law Firm. He earned his LL.M (Criminal & Security Law), LL.B and MBA (HR & Finance) from LPU, Punjab, India. He is also a DUET-2019 topper for PhD Entrance Examination. Mr. Tandon has a distinguished career and extensive experience in practicing law with over 15 years of standing in Law field & having solid presence at the Bar in the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Commissions, Regulatory Bodies and Tribunals etc. He has has about 7 years of exposure in Corporates with relevant expertise, knowledge, and persuasive abilities. Mr. Tandon has been representing large Indian Business Houses and Multi-National Clients thereby being one of the valuable contributors to the administration of justice. He actively supports, promotes, and defends the interests, rights, and well-being of others by working in various fields and contexts, such as law, social justice, human rights, healthcare, education, and environmental protection, among others.
Mr. Tandon has tremendous command over dealing on matters related to complex Commercial Disputes, contentious matters related to Companies’ law, Securities law, Competition law and Foreign Exchange Regulations. He regularly appears before National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), Competition Commission of India (CCI), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and other National and State level regulatory authorities.
Having a deep-seated passion for the access to justice, Mr. Tandon not only specializes in Criminal and Civil cases, but has even represented and advised numerous clients on matters involving forensic investigations, white collar crimes, corporate frauds, and regulatory issues. He in addition to all this, has a significant experience in conducting whistleblower and internal investigations with in-depth understanding of the entire lifecycle of investigations.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Adv. SK. Tandon is seeking law students from recognized Law institutions enrolled in, both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programme, for its firm Ignecon Services and Aid Legal in Delhi.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Legal Research: Conducting research on various legal issues, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents. This research helps attorneys and legal professionals in preparing legal strategies and arguments.
2. Document Review: Assisting with the review and analysis of legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and client files. This may involve summarizing documents, identifying key issues, and preparing reports.
3. Court Filings: Assisting with the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts and administrative agencies. This may involve drafting motions, petitions, and other court filings, as well as coordinating with court clerks and other legal professionals.
4. Client Interaction: Participating in client meetings and interviews, taking notes, and assisting attorneys in gathering relevant information. This may also involve conducting legal interviews with witnesses or other parties involved in a case.
5. Support in Court Proceedings: Observing and assisting attorneys during court hearings, trials, and depositions. This may involve note-taking, researching legal issues during proceedings, and helping with the preparation of exhibits and evidence.
6. Administrative Tasks: Assisting with various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and managing correspondence.
7. Professional Development: Actively engaging in learning opportunities and professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge and skills. This may include attending legal seminars, workshops, or training sessions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Law students enrolled in recognized and Bar Council approved institutions.
– Self-motivated, entrepreneurial law students who are interested in gaining experience.
– Candidates having strong research, writing, and organizational skills and excellent academic credentials.
