Full Job Description:
Note: We are a remote-first organization so you can work from anywhere in India. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events.
CACTUS is seeking motivated legal graduates to join our team as Legal Interns. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to embark on their legal careers and gain practical experience in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a Legal Intern, you will provide valuable support to our legal team by assisting with contract management, conducting thorough research on various laws, and facilitating effective communication.Job responsibilities:
- Assist with contract management, including organizing and maintaining online records of , contracts and other documents.
- Independently manage contract renewals – sending renewal reminders and renewing the contracts in timely manner.
- Conduct legal research on various Indian / International laws and prepare summaries.
- Assist with communication and correspondence with clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Attend and assist in meetings and transactions, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and prerequisites:
- Recent graduates or final-year law students, having successfully completed their LLB / LLM program are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
