Eligibility & Key Requirements
Candidates applying for the Legal Manager / Deputy Manager – Banking Legal position should have:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience after completing LLB.
- Prior litigation experience in banking recovery is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 and banking recovery proceedings.
- Knowledge of the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act (RDB Act), 1993.
- Working knowledge of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
- Understanding of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
- Knowledge of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015.
- Sound understanding of court procedures and litigation practices.
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle legal matters relating to home loan recovery and banking litigation.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be part of the Home Loan Collection – Legal Team, working on legal and recovery matters associated with banking and financial services. The role requires practical exposure to litigation, recovery laws, court procedures and legal drafting.
