Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Legal Tech Consultant at Team Counsel. The Legal Tech Consultant will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of technology-enabled legal solutions, with a strong focus on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. The role involves working closely with the leadership team and clients to understand legal operations challenges, implementing CLM tools, improving contracting processes, and enabling scalable legal infrastructure for global clients.The consultant will play a key role in bridging legal expertise with operational and technical execution, contributing to client delivery, internal process improvement, and the firm’s growth in the legal tech consulting and CLM implementation space.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of professional experience in legal consulting, legal operations, or legal technology
- Law graduate from a 5-year or 3-year law program
- Prior experience working with CLM platforms, legal operations tools, or contract automation systems, or a strong demonstrated interest in CLM and legal tech. (Learn CLM)
- Strong understanding of contracts, legal workflows, and documentation processes
- Excellent drafting, documentation, and process-mapping skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with cross-border teams
- Professionalism, ownership mindset, and a problem-solving approach
- Exposure to or interest in the global legal tech and consulting will be a strong advantage
