Job Overview:
Arch Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contracts Administrator to support the legal and compliance functions of our growing federal contracting business. This role focuses on the administration, tracking, and coordination of a variety of contractual documents—including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), and related legal documentation—throughout the contract lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Business Development (BD) team and Legal to ensure smooth and compliant contract processes. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is a plus, but the emphasis is on strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and processing of contractual documents such as NDAs, teaming agreements, and task orders in alignment with company policies.
- Track contract statuses, due dates, and document versions using the company’s contract management system.
- Coordinate internal contract approvals and signatures, ensuring timely execution and recordkeeping.
- Support the redlining and review process by preparing documents for review, tracking revisions, and maintaining version control.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure contract documents are complete, compliant, and properly communicated.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files in digital repositories and systems of record.
- Assist with compliance tracking related to FAR and other federal contracting requirements as directed by Legal or senior contract staff.
- Provide administrative support in preparing summaries, reports, and contract-related documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Help implement improvements in contract management processes and contribute to standardization of templates and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in contract administration or related support role, preferably in a federal contracting environment.
- Familiarity with contract types, FAR clauses, and government contract practices preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a professional business context.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and contract/document management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive documents.
Preferred Certifications:
- NCMA certification (e.g., Certified Federal Contracts Manager – CFCM) or willingness to pursue is a plus
