Position: Law Intern Product Management (Data Privacy)

Job Description:

• Interpret the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and associated rules to develop whitepapers, blogs, and other educational content.
• Map DPDP rules to the company’s data protection (DP) solution, ensuring compliance and usability.
• Develop and input DPDP-compliant templates into the DP solution to establish subject matter expertise (SMEs) and streamline the customer onboarding process.
• Input and configure various Personal Data and PII classifiers into the system.
• Analyze frameworks like the Total Consent Management Framework and similar regulatory guidelines to assist Product and Engineering teams in defining use cases for the consent management framework development.
• Conduct basic functionality testing of the DP solution to support refinement and improvement over the next six months.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Computer Science, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data protection laws and privacy frameworks (e.g., DPDP, GDPR).
• Analytical mindset with excellent research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in working with technical and regulatory documentation.
• Familiarity with data classification and consent management concepts is a plus.
