Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws, and regulations
- Analyze and interpret legal documents to provide insights and recommendations
- Prepare legal notices, contracts, agreements, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Assist in drafting affidavits, wills, and deeds as per client requirements
- Support senior lawyers in managing case files and maintaining proper documentation
- Ensure timely submission of filings and compliance with court deadlines
- Assist in client meetings and provide legal advice under senior lawyer supervision
- Understand client concerns and help in gathering necessary information and evidence
- Appear in courts, tribunals, or government offices for filing cases or representing clients under supervision
- Take notes during hearings and prepare case updates
- Coordinate with team members, clients, and external stakeholders such as advocates, registrars, and government officials
- Work on cross-functional projects requiring legal input
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in transactions or litigation matters
- Conduct due diligence for legal and regulatory clearances
- Stay updated with new legal developments, amendments, and judgments
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars as directed by the firm
