Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist with legal research related to contracts, compliance, and commercial matters
2. Review and organise contracts, NDAs, and internal legal documents
3. Support the drafting and updating of legal templates and policies
4. Assist with compliance checks across different jurisdictions
5. Maintain organised legal records and documentation
6. Support internal teams with basic legal queries under supervision
7. Learn how legal considerations apply to real business decisions
While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualities will be strongly preferred:
1. Prior exposure to basic contract drafting or review, even through coursework or mock exercises
2. Familiarity with commercial, corporate, or compliance-related legal topics
3. Experience conducting independent legal research using online sources or academic databases
4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage documents systematically
5. High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
6. Comfort working in a remote, structured, and deadline-driven environment
7. Clear written communication and attention to detail
8. Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and improve continuously
9. Interest in in-house legal work rather than purely litigation-focused roles
10. Consistent availability and reliability throughout the internship duration
11. Candidates who demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a genuine interest in applied legal work, even through academic projects or self-driven learning, will be prioritised.
